In a follow up to last week's story that close to nine million customers who had used Manchester, East Midlands, and Stansted Airports may have had their data stolen mas part of a massive hack, the details have been leaked online.

At the time, parent company Manchester Airports Group said that a ransom had been demanded but was not paid - since then, Bleeping Computer reports that the 86GB of data which extortion group FulcrumSec claimed it had stolen was actually 640GB when extracted, making it the largest known customer data breach affecting a British airport operator.

Have I Been Pwned says the data contained personal information to airport services, including vehicle registrations and parking history, FastTrack purchases and lounge bookings.

In a statement released at the time of the hack, MAG claimed "Neither MAG nor the system accessed hold customers’ bank or payment details. The data that has been accessed includes customers’ email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registrations and postcodes".

Have I Been Pwned recommends that customers who may have been affected change their passwords on every account which may have been compromised by the hack and enable two-factor verification to add an extra layer of security to your account.
