Being scammed brings a cacophony of emotions to the surface which are not easy to deal with. These commonly these include shame, anger, trust issues and anxiety.
It is worth remembering clever people get scammed all the time because scams are designed to override logic and reasoning. Fraudsters use sophisticated psychological manipulation, urgency, and emotional triggers to catch us off guard.
If you are going through any of the above please remember it is not your fault. Most of us have been impacted by a scam or two throughout our lifetime. You may wish to share annonomously or you may wish to shout about it to warn others. We are here to listen and share your story with our readers, and other peoples stories with you. Together we can protect one another.
